A few of our traditional favorite fundraisers are Fashion Shows, Spring/ Fall Card and Game Parties, and our beautiful quilt raffle. It is a work of art that is handmade by our members to be raffled off in the Fall. Next year we will roll out our new “Dining Out” Fundraiser. With all of the delectable restaurants in our area this promises to be not only fun but also a great success. In order to support our many worthy organizations the LMWC will have a variety of fundraisers each club year.

The LMWC welcomes monetary support from community resources that may be otherwise unable to participate in our fundraising activities. Our club also appreciates donations of items that may be used in our hands-on volunteer efforts, advertisement of our community events or as a means to assist us with additional fundraising efforts. This may be in the form of Cash or In-kind items. In-kind items may be in the form of gift certificates, give away items, use of a facility for volunteer projects, or promotional items. All donations will be recognized on our website under Sponsor Recognition unless given anonymously. We invite you to graciously support our sincere efforts. Since 1950, our organization has donated over $100,000 to our local community. Recent recipients include Habitat for Humanity Women Build, NOVA, the Alzheimer's Association, LMT Vertern's Square Park and Memorial Fund, the Yardley-Makefield Library, and many others.

Community Concerns

The Lower Makefield Woman’s Club donates over 300 pounds of canned goods annually for the Presbyterian Food Pantry, including personal products not covered by food stamps for the Bucks County Housing Group.
